A fresh exploration of the monologue format, with a common theme that binds the six characters together.
The six characters share a common problem in that they are all trapped. Trapped, maybe in an obvious way, but on closer study as the monologue develops and we gain access to the mind of the character and stronger insight into their lives, the audience member actually realises that like many of us the characters are actually trapped in a myriad of ways.
Touching and humorous, confessional and frank, the audience are taken on a trip to the deepest, innermost thoughts of each individual character and are left with a sense of being privy to some dark secret.
Six different characters plucked from a cross section of society who will not fail to strike a chord.
The amalgamation of observations created by Christopher Manoe will delight as audience members recognise in the characters their friends, enemies and more frighteningly… themselves?
